Kentore is an urban modestwear label and social enterprise. They dress the woman who is both design perceptive and conscious that her consumption says something important about who she is.
Kentore's collections draw inspiration from the ease and minimalism attributed to modesty and the form and construction in made-to-measure tailoring. Designed and developed in London, each piece is carefully considered and responsibly made.
In defiance of fast-fashion and over-consumption, we produce no more than two collections a year. Our first collection of 2019 is a focused edit of functionality and form. All fourteen pieces carry the brand’s sense of minimalism and incorporate elements of modestwear – carefully constructed fits, longline silhouettes and fuller coverage necklines – that subtly elevate their design.
The Project is Kentore’s economic empowerment initiative to support long-term unemployed women enter the world of work. For every item purchased from our collection, we donate a brand-new item to Dress for Success; a global non-profit dedicated to improving the lives of women from disadvantaged communities. The charity’s goal is to fight against the effects of poverty and discrimination by helping these women get back on their feet. This embodies everything our brand stands for.
