11. MARKETING POLICY

The marketing policy is applicable to sellers who have marketing elements included in their membership plans or for sellers who do not have membership included in their plan but have opted into marketing services on a Adhoc basis.

 

11.1 The Pommier will manage the relationship with influencers, journalists and stylists

We will actively source, vet and review potential marketing partners we believe can help to create content. All contact with our partners will be via The Pommier. Sellers must not at anytime contact our partners directly or attempted to divert a partner away from The Pommier. Sellers found contacting our partners directly will risk account suspension.

 

11.2 The seller must allow The Pommier up to 3 full calendar months to negotiate the production of the content with the marketing partner.

Whilst we aim to have content created within a 1 month time scale with our marketing partners (influencers), sellers should give The Pommier a 3 month timescale to negotiate the completion of the content before submitting a complaint. Should the content not be produced in a 3 month timescale, The Pommier will seek to cover the product cost at a wholesale rate from the marketing partner on your behalf.

The Pommier can not guarantee coverage from journalists or magazines.

 

11.3 The cost of gifting an item is bared by the Seller

Sellers who wish to opt into our marketing services through third party Marketing Partners must be responsible for the cost of the items used for promotion. This includes the cost of shipping items to marketing partners and any import taxes that may arise in sending and receiving items.


11.4.1 The Pommier will bare the cost of the labour to produce content

The Pommier will cover the cost in sourcing, managing and paying third party marketing partners to produce content to promote your items on our platform for sellers who have Marketing Services included in their membership plans.

For sellers who have chosen marketing services to be Adhoc and are not included in their membership plans they will be subject to pay an adhoc fee as set below when the content has been created.

 

11.4.2 Adhoc Marketing Fee's

The prices set below are for our specialist teams time, resources and knowledge. The prices set below are strictly non-refundable.

The price does not reflect any outcome to a campaign, any reach of users, any sales and this should be fully understood by you prior to enquiring to be featured.

 

Influencer or Blogger

  • £50 + VAT per campaign

Campaign meaning, a group of products with their accompanying photos. If a influencer is gifted 1 or more products by a seller and the influencer posts 1 or more pieces of content related to that campaign, the seller will only pay the price once for that campaign.

The price does not change based on how big or small the influencers or bloggers following or reach is.

Once you have confirmed in writing to part take in this campaign activity, you will need to notify us in writing to withdraw as we will continue to present your brand to these marketing partners.

Any campaigns scheduled prior to your notice to cancel this adhoc service will still be payable by you.

 

The Pommier's Social Media Channels

  • £50 + VAT per post

Post meaning, an image The Pommier have created featuring your product(s) and put live on our Social Media Channels such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook etc. 

You will not be charged if we share your own content as we will always try to share a sellers social media post that is solely about The Pommier.

Any posts scheduled prior to your notice to cancel this adhoc service will still be payable by you.

 

Newspaper or Magazine

  • £500 + VAT per coverage

Coverage meaning, a post or placement in a magazine. The seller will pay the above fee's in every piece of coverage a product, product name or brand name is mentioned in as a result of The Pommier.

The price does not change based on how big or small the publication or coverages following or reach is.

Once you have confirmed in writing to part take in this campaign activity, you will need to notify us in writing to withdraw as we will continue to present your brand to these marketing partners.

Any campaigns scheduled prior to your notice to cancel this adhoc service will still be payable by you.

 

Email Campaign

  • £200 + VAT per product inclusion
  • £500 + VAT for a brand focus email (1 main image, 1 brand text, 6 products).

If you wish to be included in an email campaign either a single product or a campaign focused on your brand the above pricing will be relevant to you if you are on our Online Membership plan.

We will confirm the pricing of this campaign feature on an adhoc basis with you prior to the campaign.

We may from time to time feature your brand or products without contacting you, however, you will not be charged a fee if we feature you on our own campaigns. 

 

Social Media Competition

  • £250 + VAT per competition.

Social Media competitions will be run for 7 days at a time. You can choose a single social media channel to host your competition on. If you would like to sponsor a competition i.e boost the post via paid channels, The Pommier will manage the promotion and boost of the post but you will need to confirm your budget prior to launching the campaign as scheduling promotions and targeting take time.

We will confirm the pricing of this campaign feature on an adhoc basis with you prior to the campaign.

We may from time to time feature your brand or products without contacting you, however, you will not be charged a fee if we feature you on our own campaigns. 

 

11.5 The Pommier have no control over the quality of the content being created

Whilst we review and select our marketing partners carefully, we can not guarantee the quality of the content as the content is being created by a third party partner who is not directly associated with our company.

This includes but is not limited to how visible your item is in a image, the text or caption around or related to the image, the resolution of the image, the colours used etc.

 

11.6 Marketing Services do not guarantee sales

When marketing a product or service to consumers there is no guarantee that the end user or customer will purchase your items. The Pommier are not responsible for the performance of your adverts relating to sales of a sellers items.

 

11.7 Items given to The Pommier for marketing purposes will not be returned to the seller

When a seller provides and item to The Pommier or it’s marketing partners for the purposes of marketing and advertising, we can not guarantee that the item will be returned to the seller. Items are usually gifted to the marketing partner in return for their services in helping you to advertise your products or kept in our inventory for the purposes of re-marketing.


11.8 Sellers must adhere to our set gifting policy pricing structure

We will offer marketing partners a set budget based on their following and reach. Marketing partners may spend this credit on our website or in our store only on sellers who have marketing services included in their membership plans or for sellers who have asked to use our Adhoc marketing services for additional fee’s.

The credit provided by the seller for marketing partners is broken down below and is an amount set for each marketing partner:

 

1,000 to 10,000 followers

  • Up to £100 retail value of product per influencer

10,000 - 50,000 followers

  • Up to £250 retail value of product per influencer

50,000 - 100,000 followers

  • Up to £400 retail value of product per influencer

100,000+ followers

  • Up to £500 retail value of product per influencer

 

Marketing partners may spend their full credit on one single brand or divide the credit between multiple sellers and multiple items but will only be provided a credit amount as set above.

If a marketing partner requires more credit, the marketing partner will pay the additional amount over their credit spend or an agreement can be made in writing for the seller to provide an additional amount of credit to a specific marketing partner.

 

11.9 Any membership does not guarantee any type of coverage in a specific time frame

Whilst Paid Advertising will be continuously running in the background as a marketing or retail member, influencers, bloggers and press have the ultimate decision on which brand or product they feature. We will continue to present your brand and items to our marketing partners but can not guarantee they will want to work with you and are not liable if they do not feature you.

We will include you in our social media channels only once content has been created by us provided that you have supplied us with products to photograph.

We will include you in email marketing campaigns when we determine your brand is relevant for a particular feature. For example, if you sell Leather bags, we would not deem it relevant to feature you in a Vegan campaign. 

There is no minimum or maximum as to how many inclusions your brands or products receive during your time as a member.

 

11.10 If you are looking at specific campaigns for your brand, you need to contact us

Most of the marketing activity within your membership will be conducted by The Pommier and inline with our current marketing strategies. If a seller wants to promote or advertise a collaborative campaign, for example, promoting a specific product or discount for a particular calendar date they would need to present this idea to our team.

The Pommier will decide it's feasibility and will ultimately decide if the campaign is worked on.

If the campaign is to be ran using a specific criteria of marketing partners, for example, promoted by 5 influencers with a reach of over 100,000 followers each - there may be additional costs to you even as a Marketing or Retail Member.

However, these personalised campaigns will be agreed with you prior to implementation and costs will be agreed before hand.
