Ocean Empress Fan ring
Ever mesmerised by the Ocean and the Moon, we dive into the mystical and subconscious with powerful yet peaceful symbolism and emotive narratives.
The beauty and magic of the Moon and the Ocean are inextricably linked, with the moon pulling the waves, and in turn, mother ocean cleansing and giving life.
The Moon is a powerful symbol of Intuition, clarity and the Soul, and the ocean is a symbol of the collective subconscious, emotion and wisdom.
With Goddess of the Ocean, Yemaya, as key inspiration, her intriguing symbols of a crescent moon, fan, water droplet, sun rays and shield are all featured throughout the collection.
Intricately etched surface detailing from original illustrations and delicate granulation give a feel of ancient treasures from times past, and rich organic surfaces textures add a luxurious, yet modern edge.
This show stopping cocktail ring features a large oval Sky Blue Topaz, surrounded by polished fans, a symbol of Yemoja, Goddess of the Ocean. Little fretwork Lotus petals flank the stone, adding balance and delicate detaling.

About The Designer
Annabelle Lucilla Jewellery was founded in May 2013 when Annabelle Lucilla won the Paul Podolsky Award.
Annabelle's fascination in intricate surface decoration and sculpture combine seamlessly when she transforms her hand drawn etchings into beautifully tactile, dynamic 3D narrative objects. Her luxurious textured surfaces mirror the feel of ancient treasures, with Annabelle drawing inspiration from ancient civilizations such as the Hellenistic period and Ancient Indian architecture. Annabelle is driven by reviving historical techniques which reflect the imperfections, textures, organic fissures and textures of times past.
